"I try to bring a start-up mentality to how we operate, such as rapid cycle experimentation. We also look outside our business for answers – something might be new to us but it's certainly not new to the wider world. It's been important to re-frame failure so that people feel confident about experimenting. Failure for me is a long-winded, over-budget project that under delivers. Failure is not about spending a few months setting out to learn something, even if we then move on something else as a result."
