We photographed Royston Tan for Uniqlo and Aflo Images as part of a bigger campaign, “What will you wear tomorrow?”
Working with the talented Gladys Ng and her team, we spent almost a day with Royston famous for films such as "15", "12 Lotus", and "881". This year, he was the Creative Director of Singapore’s National Day Parade – a daunting task with the backdrop of the Covid-19 pandemic.
The one thing I remembered from that day was his approach to making films and life: "In life, sometimes there isn’t a second chance, but in film I can give it a second chance. "
